Allergies and access needs.
This notice is for residents of Washington (My Health My Data Act), Nevada and other states with consumer health data laws. It covers the only health-related data JustMarried collects.
1. What we collect and where it comes from
When a couple asks about it, a guest can enter allergies, dietary needs (for example “gluten-free”) and access needs (for example “step-free seat”) for their household on the RSVP page. We collect these only after the guest ticks a separate consent box. We collect no other health data.
2. Why we collect it
Only so the couple and their caterer can plan meals and seating that are safe and comfortable for the guest. Never for advertising, and we never sell it.
3. Who we share it with
- The couple and the co-planners and helpers they invite.
- Their caterer – only if the guest ticked a second, separate box to share the notes with the caterer, and only when the couple sends the caterer list. Without that second yes the caterer’s list shows no notes for that guest.
- Our hosting provider netcup GmbH (Germany), which stores it on our behalf.
4. How long we keep it
We delete it automatically the day after the wedding, or right away when the guest unticks the consent box. Backups keep a copy for up to 14 more days.
5. Your rights
You can withdraw consent at any time on your RSVP page, and ask us to confirm whether we hold your health data, to see it, to delete it and to list who received it. Write to privacy@justmarried.one. If we decline, you can appeal by replying to our answer; if we deny the appeal, you can contact your state’s attorney general.
