The fine print, in plain words.
These Terms apply to everyone who uses JustMarried.one to plan a wedding. We kept them short and readable – the summary below is not a substitute for the full text.
- Free during the betaYou can plan your wedding for free: every part has a free version with a limited scope. Upgrades are one-time purchases – no subscription, nothing charged without checkout.
- Your photos stay yoursYou keep all rights. We only host and show them where you choose.
- 14 days to withdrawChanged your mind? Full refund within 14 days of paying – no reason needed, any time at justmarried.one/withdraw.
1. Who we are & accepting these terms
JustMarried.one (“JustMarried”, “we”), operated by Tobias Kurig, Isarweg 1, 85774 Unterföhring, Germany (see Imprint), provides online wedding planning tools, wedding websites, registries, photo and video sharing, print templates and thank-you cards. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. How we handle data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
2. Beta
JustMarried is in beta. Features may change, and some may be added, priced or removed. We’ll tell you before a feature you use becomes paid; nothing is ever charged without you going through checkout.
3. Your account & team
- You must be at least 18 to create an account or buy add-ons.
- The person who creates a wedding is its owner. The owner invites co-planners and helpers and can transfer ownership. Owners and co-planners can buy add-ons for the wedding.
- Co-planners and helpers act on the owner’s behalf. Keep your login safe – you’re responsible for activity in your wedding.
- Guests, speakers, vendors and your photographer use personal links and don’t need an account.
- On the budget page you add vendors and can email them from JustMarried. You decide what you write and are responsible for your agreements with them – JustMarried isn’t part of them and doesn’t check prices or contracts.
- The couple can create an AI code to connect an AI app of their choice. Whoever has the code can read and change the plan like a co-planner, so keep it like a password. You are responsible for the AI app you connect and for what it does in your wedding.
4. Your guests’ information
When you add guests, team members or a photographer, you confirm that you may give us their contact details to send invitations, reminders, requests and thank-yous for your wedding. Only add people you actually invite, don’t enter health details outside the guest’s own consent field, and don’t use JustMarried for marketing or unrelated messages.
5. Prices, payment & taxes
- Prices are shown on our Pricing page – in US dollars on the US pages and in euros on the German pages, with the same amounts. There is one price per wedding, set by the number of guests on your list – no subscription and no automatic renewals.
- Every feature is included at every size: the planner, invitations and RSVP, seating and all print templates and designs, the wedding website, the registry, guest photos (50 photos and 10 videos per guest, the photo wall, the photographer link, 3 months of access) and thank-you cards.
- Up to 50 guests everything is free. With 51 to 150 guests on your list the price is $29 (or €29), with more than 150 guests $59 (or €59).
- The payment is due once, when you send the invitations: at that moment we count the guests on your list. Until then you plan for free, whatever the size of your list. If your list later grows past the tier you paid for, only the difference is due ($30 or €30 from 51–150 to more than 150 guests) – the full price is never charged twice, and nothing else is ever charged for that wedding.
- Until payment is switched on, sending is free for every size. Anything you sent during that time stays sent.
- You pay on Stripe’s checkout page by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) or a wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link). Before you pay you see the total. On the US pages any sales tax is shown there; on the German pages all prices are final prices – as a small business under § 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG) we charge no VAT. We don’t store card details.
- Sending is opened for your wedding as soon as Stripe confirms the payment.
- Promotional prices apply only during the stated period.
6. Right of withdrawal
We follow German withdrawal law for every customer, wherever you live (owner 27.10.2026).
- Right of withdrawal. You can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded – the day you pay.
- How. Tell us of your decision by a clear statement: with the withdrawal function at justmarried.one/withdraw (linked in the footer of every page), by email to hello@justmarried.one or by letter to JustMarried.one, Isarweg 1, 85774 Unterföhring, Germany. You may use the model form below, but you don’t have to. Sending your withdrawal before the 14 days end is enough. We confirm every withdrawal by email right away.
- Consequences. If you withdraw, we refund all payments we received from you without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal, using the same means of payment you used, unless we expressly agree otherwise; you don’t pay any fees for the refund. We don’t charge for the time you already used. Your wedding then goes back to the free plan; your planning stays.
- After the 14 days: if something didn’t work as described, contact us and we’ll fix it or refund you. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live.
Model withdrawal form (fill in and send it only if you want to withdraw): To JustMarried.one, Isarweg 1, 85774 Unterföhring, Germany, hello@justmarried.one – I/We (*) hereby withdraw from the contract concluded by me/us (*) for the provision of the following service (*): … – Ordered on (*) / received on (*): … – Name of consumer(s): … – Address of consumer(s): … – Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is sent on paper) – Date: … – (*) Delete as appropriate.
7. Registry & cash funds
- Gifts are bought from the stores you link. We’re not the seller and aren’t responsible for products, prices, shipping or returns.
- Name, price and photo are read from the shop’s page when you add a link and may be out of date – check them before you publish.
- Cash funds are a list of wishes: guests pledge an amount and give it to you directly. No money goes through JustMarried, and you mark gifts as received yourself.
- We don’t earn commissions on the product links in your registry. The shop buttons on your wish list (“Find gifts at”) may be affiliate links: if you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you – the note sits next to the buttons.
8. Photos, videos & your content
- You, your guests and your photographer keep all rights to what you upload, and are named as its author – “© name” – wherever it is shown: gallery, album, photo wall, thank-you cards and websites.
- Before uploading, guests and photographers agree to the license below with a checkbox; we store when they did.
- Uploaders give us a limited license to store, process (resize, convert) and display their content only to run the service for your wedding – never for advertising or AI training – and give the couple the right to keep and share it privately, for example in the album, on the photo wall and on thank-you cards.
- If you invite a professional photographer, your agreement with them decides how you may use their photos.
- Only upload content you have the right to share, and nothing illegal, hateful, sexually explicit or showing someone intimately without their consent. We may remove content that breaks these rules.
- Report content with the “Report” button or to hello@justmarried.one – we look at every report and tell you what we decided. Copyright complaints go to legal@justmarried.one.
- Intimate images shared without consent (TAKE IT DOWN Act): write to privacy@justmarried.one with your signature (typing your full name is enough), something that lets us find the image (for example the wedding and a description or screenshot), a short statement that it was shared without your consent, and how we can reach you. We remove it within 48 hours of a valid request, together with copies we can find, whether or not you are a guest.
- If we remove or restrict content or an account, we tell the person affected why and how to object (Art. 17 EU Digital Services Act).
- We don’t delete photos and videos automatically today. If we introduce a storage period, we’ll tell you in advance so you can download your album.
9. Private links & your website
Guest, speaker, vendor, seat, photo and screen pages open with private links or codes. You decide what you publish and to whom you give these links – anyone who has one can open that page. You can protect your website with a password, create a new photographer link or pair a screen again at any time.
10. Acceptable use
- No spam, scraping, reverse engineering or attempts to break our security, including guessing other people’s codes or links.
- Don’t impersonate others or collect guest data for other purposes.
- We may suspend accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these Terms; where possible we’ll warn you first.
11. Availability & changes
We work hard to keep JustMarried running, but can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free – please keep your own copies of important lists and photos. If we materially change these Terms, we’ll tell you by email at least 30 days in advance; if you don’t agree, you can close your account before the change takes effect.
12. Liability
We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under product liability law and where we gave a guarantee. For slight negligence we are only liable if we breach an essential obligation – one that makes the service possible and that you may rely on – and then only for the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise we are not liable, for example for vendors, venues, deliveries, shops or guests. Where US state law applies and allows it, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim; some states don’t allow such limits.
13. Disputes & governing law
- Please contact us first – most issues are solved in a few emails.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protection of the place where you live.
- You may bring a claim in the courts where you live or in Munich, Germany. There is no arbitration clause and no class-action waiver.
- We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration board.
14. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time yourself on your account page – it goes at once, together with every wedding you own alone – or by writing to hello@justmarried.one. We may close accounts that break these Terms. What you paid for a wedding ends with that wedding; data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
